100 Years of History

Omnitrack & Autotrack trace their roots back to early 1909.

The parent company, Autoset (Production) Ltd, established themselves in Birmingham as makers of treadle lathes, shelving systems, castors and wheels. From 1919 to 1922 they produced a range of popular scooters under the brand names of Autoglider .

18000lbs Unit

Heavy duty 18000lbs Ball Unit.

The 9070 design needed to be compact and operate at all angles of orientation. This requirement causes problems with many conventional types of ball transfers, but Omnitrack’s “endless track” internal bearing system allows maximum precision and instantaneous directional change at all angles of orientation. This all needed to fit within the tight confines of the NASA brief.
